Hey OP. Can I dual boot two custom roms having Android versions 5.1.1 and 7.1.2? The Lollipop one requires a lollipop firmware (of course) while the other one needs a marshmallow firmware. Can I do this?

yes.. i have android 7 & 6
You Can Have android 6 and 7 roms together but not android 5 with with any of 6 or 7... The reason is well known and an old issue.
Lollipop support modem files coming with stock lollipop zip only. It bootloops with mm modem files. And MM or N doesn't support lollipop modem files. So its a deadlock.

If I remember correctly, initial builds of CM13 (nightlies of beginning 1 or 2 month) doesn't require modem files to be updated.

Only we can Just Hope if somebody can patch or whatever do something out of box , to make universal modem files for us. :p

Hi,

Dualboot patcher giving error whenever clicked on ROM option.

Unable to patch... when clicked.. exiting.

Removed magisk 13.3 and installed supersu sr3.

Still no resolution..

Better to not update app
yeh.. i recently updated to 9.2.0.287

Till now no issues seen.

2 mon back i was using 9.2.0.237.. it was too fine.

But recently formatted and on latest rr... soon each version gave issue..

But now post 9.2.0.199.. it seems everything is fine.

Only one changed that is removed magisk and using supersu.

Thanks

Hello team.

I don't want to use gapps always.

Can i do 2 os but use singal data directory.

For ex on primary RR with Gapps and on secondary RR without Gapps. At the same time both os should use singal data folder so all user app will be available to both OS and whenever i need gapps then i will boot to primary else use secondary.

How i can do this?

Thanks
