Not able to dual boot with nougat and oreo roms.

Hey everyone, I was facing an issue that is I was unable to boot oreo with as my secondary rom making nougat my primary rom, I have tried it with many roms but it does not work, so can anyone do something.

oreo roms are not working in dual boot as secondary
u can use oreo as primary and nougat as secondary

I have tried it but after updating ramdisk the rom does not boot or bootloops.

i once used rr and that was working
and use data slot or ext sdcard slot

I was using aex 8.0 but after updating ramdisk it goes to bootloop, so I was unable to flash any nougat roms. I have also tried it with los 15 and aoscp oreo but same problem.

Hi,

Orio at primary only work. Nougat works with orio works fine if N install at data/dual/microsd.

Any way found to use orio ROM data/dual/microsd... not on primary?

Primary AOSPExtended Oreo
Dual/Secondary : DosOS Nougat

I tried to patch AOSPExtended new version to update primary. But post updating fail to boot.
All i had to install new ROM which removed DOSOS system partition data.

So went in AOSPExtended, restored dual/secondary system partition to restore DOS OS.

Any solution for this or this is only method to upgrade OREO rom.

Oreo ROMs are not working with this patcher
You had to use twrp to update Oreo

Just backup ur secondary ROM
Update primary ROM using twrp
And restore secondary ROM again using dualboot patcher

try with some other oreo
bootloop occurs only when oreo rom is patched with this app

I am using dual patcher on Z00L . Crdroid 8.1 at primary & dotos 7.1.2 at secondary. Backed up both rom using dbp.

Wiped system, data & cache. Restore failed for crdroid. It is failing while restoring system at firmware folder with error "can not restore extended attributes: security.selinux.security.selinux"

I have used this method many times but facing this issue 1st time.

I am able to restore dosos but not able to restore crdroid.

Please suggest
