Not sure. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58012601&postcount=232Can I unlock bootloader?![]()
If You are on .108 firmware, upgrade it to .157 any way you wish. After that flash kernel only from .108, root it, and afterwards flash .157 kernel only. I used flashtool to do it. Easy and fast way to root.Hi everyone,
Thanks for this tutorial, after some minor hickups i have rooted and have CMW.
Did not unlock bootloader.
The only thing is i'm still on firmware 108 and keep getting the update notifications.
So i flashed 157 but then lost root, so did it all again.
I'm not sure how or where to get a stock rooted 157 fw
Which Rom is still stock 157 but rooted, or any rom closest to stock?
thanks for any help in advance.
You need to have rooted kitkat with recovery of your choice and then make a pre rooted lollipop zip.How root our Z1c on lollipop firmware?
You need to use PRFcreator toolYou need to have rooted kitkat with recovery of your choice and then make a pre rooted lollipop zip.
Yup and there is a working recovery xzdr is working but you will need to follow the thread @Nut has, I believe 2.8.10 is the currentAlright. I have factory reset my z1c. Rooted it (kk). Now I want to upgrade to lollipop. Just flashing the zip created from prfcreator does it, right? And there's no recovery yet for lollipop?
Sorry, n00b here.![]()
