i tried to install as shown in the video, same options, but still the same situation. first whatever boot animation option i choose it is always z3 with sound after boot, second keyboard stops working immediately after booting, volume buttons dont work, back button does not work as well as most of the ui. what to do now? (z1 6902 with UB).

Disable Google keyboard. It solved back button issue for me.
Thanks bro :) :D
Hmm actually while you install Rom for first time all you need is clean wipe off data or you will stuck. And I had provided addons so you will have other working animations. And set any other keypad so all your bugs will be solved

Followed all steps, correctly, flashed the stock .157, then had to flash a older kernel to be able to root, then installed the nut recovery, entered recovery, installed rom, chose z1 with double tap to wake, restarts, sony logo, force shutdown, flashes the rockz1 kernel, rockz1 logo with atom white background showsup forever.

second try, flashed the stock .157, powered off, flashed the rockz1 kernel, entered recovery, chose all the possible wipe options, installed zip from sdcard, chose default dpi, white transparent caller, and z1 with tap awake, restarted, white screen with atom rockz1k forever.

any help?

UPDATE
Oh, didn't know i had to install both the 2.0 and then the 2.1 .-. i feel stupid, sorry to bother xD

a small doubt is that locked or unlocked bootloader
please give me your log on installation ( after flash complete you will get an option to save log ) save log and provide me.. so i can solve your problem

So finally full kernel work got completed
just posted kernel for z1c [since it actually had lots of bugs it became late for me to finish] finally done

So Click Here for Z1c Kernel

Started work on rom almost 50% done (y)

Thanks for answering, however, the problem was i didn't know i had to install the 2.0 first, i was just installing the 2.1, so my fault.
unlocked bootloader btw.

installing the 2.0 and then 2.1, it'll probably work, however, if it doesn't i'll let you know c:

thanks for the support and keep up with the awesome work.

i'm getting stuck at 80% for some reason,

>>>Xperia Z1 c6903
- Verifying
- Installing c6903
- Finalizing
>>> Installing Z1 kernel

Unpacking Kernel Files...
Modyfing ramdisk...

UPDATE
Apparently saying you're using a custom kernel will cause it to get stuck at 80%, you must choose the stock kernel option.
tried using the rockz1k kernel.

Update 2

Currently running the ROM, however, it feels kind of bloated when i open the app drawer, besides that the rom is beautiful.
and how do you enable the tap to wake feature? i enabled it when installing but it doesn't seem to be working right now.

So Xposed installer is saying, The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?
when i click on install/update, it gives me an error,
SD card:/storage/emulated/0/android/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/files

Copying Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip...
Mounting /system writable
mount: permission denied (are you root?)
could not mount /system writable
Trying to continue anyway
cp:can't create /system/bin
app_process.orig':Read-only file system

failed to create a backup of /system/bin app_process

and SuperSu is asking to update binaries, however the installation fails.

any help c: ?

btw i had to flash what i think is an older kernel for the DTW to work with pimp my z1, because the newest one you just posted isn't compatible with it.

Because it not yet been release.thanks
Hi

so far the only thing keeping me from keeping this room as my daily rom is the battery, the tap to wake function, works flawlessly and is awesome, all the mods are awesome, and the limitless possibilities of costumization is awesome.
however the battery didn't last a day with very small usage, according to battery usage, 47% was screen use, and 38% was Android OS, wich seems kind of odd to me, because the Android OS isn't usually at the top i think.

I do believe however, that this problem is occuring because i am using an older kernel, because apparently this is the only kernel that supports tap to wake (3.4.6 [email protected] #1Sat feb 7) , wich is pretty much the reason that made me install this ROM in the first place.

so, any tips or fixes or ways to use tap to wake in the newest kernel so the battery doesn't drain so much?

Thanks in advance c:
