Hi all,

I'm completely new to this whole android software coming from an iPhone user for 5 years so how do I exactly get this & install it (instruction for dummies)?

What software do you guys use to back up your entire phone? apps etc.

First of all. Warm welcome finally to the Android family and freedom. You made the right decision and as I see it, the Sony Z3 is not only the best looking device of 2014 but also the best device overall.

Although it is good to see that you have taken an interest in modding your Android device, please be informed that this is an area that is similar (not same) to iPhone jail breaking community. It is more for developers and those who can benefit from their technical work. So requires some learning and patience. It is not a mainstream consumer targeted area of Android.

That said, you may need to read some android basics in the XDA general threads for beginners to understand things like root, boot loader and custom recovery before you embark on changing system related files on your device.

I think your second question is in the wrong thread. Your first question will be easier if you do the above reading and if you follow the original thread quoted here.

Peace.

I purchased xperia Z3 dual sim (D6633) yesterday.

My single speaker is working for ringtones, notifications and phones calls through speaker whereas while playing media files both speakers work fine.
