I've been a bit busy, but I did 2 test mods for Z3c .77 fw and Z3 Dual
Those are not flashable zips. You have to manually extract the files and replace the mixer paths from the zip with the /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml and set correct permissions ofc.

Let me know if it works! :highfive:

Let me know if the amount of exclamation marks isn't enough because the amount of question marks in your post is so big that I want to know that I did type the correct amount of exclamation marks here.

Hi, is it possible to let me know the lines I need to adjust in the MixerPaths xml to raise the head phone and speaker volumes a little? Thanks very much.

Basically the same way as in this guide, with the exception that the speaker might be divided into different sections based on the case of the use of speaker. (in-call, media playback, loudspeaker, anc status, etc.)

Did not work for the z3c unfortunately. Completely killed all audio, including over bluetooth haha

Thanks! Its weird that when I tried to amend my mixer path and then copy it back audio would no longer play on my device and my audio settings keep force closing.

Do you happen to know what might be causing this?

I have removed any lines, just amended values.

@i360* i got the stock Z3c file from you. Could you try the file I modded based on the one you sent me? That would make it clear if Sony prevented volume mods the way they were or its just some cross customization incompatibility.

so does it work for z3 dual now?

i hope i can use this mod. my bottom speaker is low (damaged i guess like the rest of us here because of water submersion). I have a rooted D6633 Z3 dual (FW 23.0.1.F.0.96) tell me what you need and i will attach it here. hope this mod works for z3 dual. My notification volume and speaker call is low (since both only uses the bottom speaker).

Is this working for the Z3 yet?

I noticed that some have posted about it not working.

I only require the stereo mod to force sound to play through both speakers on loudspeaker. I find the headphone volume loud enough.

I was actually in your Z2 thread for the same mod and noticed you had told someone to head over here for the Z3 mod, does this mean its up and running?

I have a rooted Z3 (D6603) running 4.4.4. (BUILD NUMBER: 23.0.1.A.5.77) - LOCKED BOOTLOADER.
