The title says z3 4.4 sound mod..... So I doubt it.
Make a backup and flash it and see

I tried this mod on my Z3 and can safely say that it works on Marshmallow
Flashed the 'Just stereo' mod on Fragment ROM 4.2, based on latest .291 stock MM
