I am considering purchasing the Ringke Fusion case and also purchasing the Pthink tempered glass for the front only. Anyone know if there are known concerns / issues with this?

I've got the Ringke fusion case and I'm happy with it, it is comfortable and seems to protect well. The only problem is that the hole for the camera leaves a small gap between the back and the case and dirt gets inside, so from time to time you have to take the phone out and clean it.

how about otterbox?

granted that the z5p is a sexy phone, i'd hate to see it drop on the floor and crack and other what nots start showing up.

My favorite is still the Tudia Ultra Slim Full-Matte Arch Case for the Xperia Z5 Premium. A close second is the Ringke Fusion. (I don't care for the "click" of the volume buttons on the Ringke, and I prefer the black of the Tudia over the clear or smoke options with the Ringke.) I really wish a more premium case was available, however.

Cheers,

Indeed the case selection for this phone is quite limited. Case Mate, my favorite case manufacturer, has no cases for it. From googling around, the Tudia cases looked pretty good, so I ordered one. I'm using a cheap terrapin case right now until the Tudia arrives.

The terrapin isn't bad, but it leaves the top and bottom of the phone fully exposed.

Tudia full cases for the Z5 Premium are fine for a low-cost solution, and match the color well if your Z5 is black. For the money, you get a lot of protection and reasonable aesthetics.

However, for the long term I would recommend Story Leather's case. (search their site for it)

Story Leather cases take 30+ days to manufacture and ship (since Z5 Premium is a "low volume phone", they typically don't keep them in stock), and they cost around $60 USD, but WELL WORTH IT.

Buy the inexpensive Tudia TPU case for the first month, until the Story Leather arrives, and then enjoy a true premium case experience :)
