It will work fine. If you are coming from a custom kernel dirty flash your ROM first though.

This uses the existing ramdisk on device, and it's incompatible with fire+ice ramdisk.
That's probably the issue I ran into last time. Thanks, will give it a shot now

Still bootlooping on android 5.1. Flashed my ROM over, then booted. Then reboot to recovery, flash Zen. Bootloop. Reflash Fire&Ice, it boots. Will test a 5.02 custom ROM now

Zen0 was working fine on cm12.1 but zen1 bootloops. Tried a clean flash and it still bootloops.

for whatever reason I cannot boot using rastapop. Dirty flashed it and then flash the latest kernel version.
Go to zen0, pretty much the same thing.

I suspect I was blind on my interactive merge. Probably dependent on some nvidia stuff.

I can't get any testers here so I'm going in blind :p

Kernel not flashing properly

@bbedward
Hi, I apologize if this has been mentioned, before, but I was not able to find an answer. I did what I was supposed to in accordance with the instructions, but for some reason I'm not able to flash the kernel. I wiped cache before flashing, and it appears to flash fine in recovery, but checking "About Tablet" in the settings shows it's still the stock kernel. I have the Wi-Fi version of Nexus 9 and using stock ROM.

On a related note, I had the same issue on my Nexus 6, but only with the anykernel. Is there maybe some other procedure that I may be missing? Go easy on me

No the nexus 9 is just goofy with all these things :p

I fixed anykernel issues on the N6 but that was a separate thing.

May just wait for 5.1.1 and package the full ramdisk with it

Yeah it's not the first time this thing has goofed up on me lol

I don't mean to drag N6 issues here, but while you're here, I'm afraid I had problems even with the anykernel version of your Epidemic release. I was on Chroma...unless you were referring to an upcoming release? :D
I love your kernel, by the way. I ended up flashing the normal version of Epidemic along with the fix Chroma's dev released for custom kernels...never thought my phone would be so smooth :highfive:

This I do not know  Are you on the latest version of TWRP?

The zen16 AnyKernel had about 250 downloads and it only didn't work on odd cases of CM changing the device string. But for those few people with the problem Z17 fixed it.

And the zips work for me too
