I'm on the latest 2.8.6.0 TWRP. Maybe the issue is specific to Chroma? Or maybe I'm missing a step in the flashing process? I dirty flash the ROM, wipe cahce, flash Zen, flash SuperSU, flash gapps. I guess I could try a different ROM to see if the issue persists. This I do not knowAre you on the latest version of TWRP?
The zen16 AnyKernel had about 250 downloads and it only didn't work on odd cases of CM changing the device string. But for those few people with the problem Z17 fixed it.
And the zips work for me too![]()
Md5 is a match too, so it's not a bad download
Update: Installing a stock based ROM with a stock kernel (MeanPop) made no difference. I also tried installing a version of Z16 anykernel you uploaded with device check disabled and it made no difference. My Nexus devices are stubborn as hell :crying:
I give up... At the very least, the regular Z17 recovery zip works fine with the sepolicy fix posted. Your kernel is probably the smoothest I've ever had the pleasure of flashing! :highfive: I only hope I can flash it to my just as stubborn N9
