This I do not know  Are you on the latest version of TWRP?

The zen16 AnyKernel had about 250 downloads and it only didn't work on odd cases of CM changing the device string. But for those few people with the problem Z17 fixed it.

And the zips work for me too
I'm on the latest 2.8.6.0 TWRP. Maybe the issue is specific to Chroma? Or maybe I'm missing a step in the flashing process? I dirty flash the ROM, wipe cahce, flash Zen, flash SuperSU, flash gapps. I guess I could try a different ROM to see if the issue persists.

Md5 is a match too, so it's not a bad download

Update: Installing a stock based ROM with a stock kernel (MeanPop) made no difference. I also tried installing a version of Z16 anykernel you uploaded with device check disabled and it made no difference. My Nexus devices are stubborn as hell :crying:

I give up... At the very least, the regular Z17 recovery zip works fine with the sepolicy fix posted. Your kernel is probably the smoothest I've ever had the pleasure of flashing! :highfive: I only hope I can flash it to my just as stubborn N9

When 5.1.1 drops for the N9 I will build up a ramdisk on that that hopefully supports CM12.1 and all third parties. Then I will package builds with that and it should help.

There's lots of good things from the N6 pipe that will be in Z2.
5.1.1 source already dropped...don't know if that would help or not?

Hey :)
Is forced encryption on this disabled? I'm also wondering what SELinux is set to, and if it's safe to assume this will work on CM Theme Engine Roms?
Sorry if these are stupid questions.

Well hell @bbedward, I can get your genius on my n910t too?! I'm all over this.
Yes and BFS works really well here :) but it's really dead here.

It's really frustrating so far here because all these different builds because there's no official 5.1, and other ramdisk breaking features that make the any kernel ineffective.

I figured I would just wait for 5.1.1 factory image and use that.

So is it still for use with 5.0.2? I'm running cm12 official nightlies on my n9.

Edit: never mind... Doesn't work on 5.0.2 or 5.1. Guess it's only for 5.1.1. Off to find a ROM.

5.1.1 factory image has FINALLY been released. But I think the kernel source has yet to be released... Should be soon though.
