Yea sorry about that quote, and one last question does the stock built in power saving mode on LP still work with this kernel? And some reason my phone still has that 4th core shutdown issue, or it sitting at max. any suggestions?

@bbedward I know you're busy guy bro and I don't like bugging and I don't like the people on here that bug but I miss your kennel. Is this safe to run with the newest stock google 5.1.1 image? I know your kind of waiting for Android marshmallow hopefully you will release something then
Yea new job and summer time have been quite busy for me.
I had been working on some more game changer stuff for the CPU scheduler, but never finished it. I'll work to get something up once 6.0 is up/complete. I don't plan to support 5.x anymore after 6.0 comes out.
I will be getting the Nexus 6P however, but will probably take til November to ship.
hopefully you'll still be supporting the nexus 6 too, lol. absolutely love your kernel!Yea new job and summer time have been quite busy for me.

@bbedward I've been using your kernel with AICP rom for several weeks now, I'm really satisfied with it. But with the build 20151015 + Zen Overclock Enable v2 my Nexus seems to bootloop !
The wifi access point does not seem to work with your kernel too, any idea ?
@bbedward - Is development on zen kernel dead? I was holding out hope for a 6.0 release![]()
Yea sorry guys - I got caught up with starting a new job and moving and graduating that I never got back around to working on the nexus 6.
I'd call it dead here, but many others are using BFS and such still - like hellscore.
I have ordered a 6P and will be getting it in about a week or so, so keep an eye out for 3.10-zen1 in the 6P forums - if you upgrade
The 6P is also an MSM device and using linux 3.10, so when I do a new port of BFS and some of the other new goodies related to it - guys like hellscore and others could likely apply those things here.

You'll be missed on the 6 man! I suppose I'll hold NE OH down.. if only I had a game changing kernel to drop
Thanks for all that you brought to development on this device -to this day i still run Zen-decision and nothing else with Elite Kernel and it is awesome.
Awesome man
Just curious, how well will bfs play with all of the added hmp stuff required for the big.little cluster management? It seems like most of that may be deeply reliant on CFS from what I've seen, so I would assume it would have to be added into bfs somehow as well? Then again, you are a pro, so you probably can make it work somehow.

NE Ohio will not be missedyou Ohioans have already taken over xda.
The goal of the Brain **** Scheduler, referred to as BFS from here on, is to completely do away with the complex designs of the past for the cpu process scheduler and instead implement one that is very simple in basic design. The main focus of BFS is to achieve excellent desktop interactivity and responsiveness without heuristics and tuning knobs that are difficult to understand, impossible to model and predict the effect of, and when tuned to one workload cause massive detriment to another.
