Hi.... I have a stable release again now.... Only need to fix sound..... If the first version is based on msm8226 board it would be easy to create a port... The kernel of zenwatch 2 is based on the zw1 .... I made some patches..
I hate the button thing... I had a pebble steel before... And at first I missed the buttons... but now I swipe like on the phone... it tdidnt had a touxhscreen... But google wants to dedicate a button to Google assistant.... If you have 1 button it can have multiple actions by double press or long press... So I don't know what the problem exactly is... I did have to add some patches for selinux and zram otherwise it won't run Android nougat.....

What would you people like to have for option with the button? If you assign it as a power button you can access assistant by long pressing and wake/power on by single press... I prefer to touch to wake and use the button for the app menu... Otherwise there's no easy option to gain access to the app menu...most of Android Wear is based on apps... The AOSP framework is just a kind of base.... But they did some minor changes .... The problem is that everything depends on power management... And I think a watch needs to have an always on display....so that's where most of the changes are made... Deep in Android... I hope I can find a balanced way to have enough power during the day and keep the display on. I'll make an alpha / testbuild tomorrow maybe

Touch to wake or tilt to wake would be best, we can then just use the palm over the screen to turn it off. One press for apps/or back and long press for assistant. That's just what I think.

I agree with this. I don't use always on display, I always tilt to wake and slap the watch when I'm done. And I'd like the 1 press for apps and long for assistant, can you do two fast for power as a option or is it just single and long?
