Can someone with an S7 snapdragon device, test something for me.

I'm trying to sort a manual shutter speed. Could someone copy the camera apk below to /system/priv-app/SamsungCamera6/
Don't forget to rename your original so you can revert back.

Go to Camera.
Go to Pro mode.
Set Shutter Speed to 10.
The camera should crash.

Could some get a logcat of it, if you filter by Error and type exposure, it should bring up an error.

I found this from @_alex74_

edit /system/cameradata/camera-feature.xml
look for the front camera resolution and find this section.
I think this will work.

<local name="FRONT_CAMERA_PICTURE_DEFAULT_RESOLUTION" value="3264x2448" />

to

<!-- Capture resolution - FRONT -->
<local name="FRONT_CAMERA_RESOLUTION_16BY9_LARGE" value="2592x1458" />
<local name="FRONT_CAMERA_RESOLUTION_4BY3_LARGE" value="2592x1944" />
<local name="FRONT_CAMERA_RESOLUTION_1BY1_LARGE" value="1936x1936" />
<local name="FRONT_CAMERA_PICTURE_DEFAULT_RESOLUTION" value="2592x1944" />

It work for me when I flash your mod with twrp but when I use your apk camera mod s8 I get fc !!

Open the flashable mod, can you extract the camera-feature-v7.xml from this and then edit it.

Can't think of anything different that would cause that. Does it only fc still only when going to selfie mode?

Are you using camera mod S7 or s8? App
I using camera mod s8 for the Batman rom with the fully ported camera s8 with the lib file and I'm running on a sm-g930w8

Are you sure it modified correctly? As this points to that front resolution issue if it happens in selfie before you have changed it.

Try replace with mine, rename of course.

Do you have the Batman rom with the fully ported camera of the s8 !? If yes I think you have to buy the s8 camera mod apk!! It's what I does

I think you should stay with the s7 apk because the lib file is s7 only just change your model with a build prop apk and if u got fc try to change the xml file

    Hi @ all

    Is it possible to set exposuretime to 30 seconds or higher?

    I mean with samung stock*camera*app or mod. No third party apps.

    I think its only limited by software.
    Hope its possible... *fingercross*

    Sent from my SM-G930F using XDA-Developers Legacy app

    I've just done a 20 second exposure !
    Just got to find the best way to implement it.

    Samsung Camera 6.5.63 has been released.

    I took the liberty of implementing the mods from Zero into it.

    Enjoy :)
