FIRST AT ALL: thanks and sorry for my poor english :angel:

So, yesterday i've installed the mod in my S8. Im on a stock rooted rom (with Magisk) and nothing more. When i opened the camera and i turned to a side, a pop up appears saying "System UI has stopped" - "Close app" . So, i tried so many thing and anyone can solve the problem BUT if i use another camera app (like the integrated in the social apps like Instagram or Whatsapp everything goes good!). Now im using Open Camera cuz i installed the "normal app", the original that you post and im having the same issue. I dont wanna reinstall the rom.

1) Tried cleaning caches
2) Tried reinstalling the original app and later, again the mod.
3) Tried wiping cache and dalvik

What can i do, i really want the mod. At least, the original camera app working. Im using just the mod, no the app that you put in PlayStore.

I dont have any nav bar custom thing. I just rooted the phone for a) this mod and b) the sound mode. Anything else. Everything is stock.

I can't think of anything that would cause that, the files it replaces I can't see would affect anything.

Can you flash the camera restore zip. It should revert back to your own original camera apk.

I've already done it. Its really strange cuz the camera works fine but when i turn the phone (and the little icons turn too), the pop up appears.

Think im going to reinstall the stock rom :crying:

You should use Titaniumbackup , backup all user apps. Saves time.

I cant get a custom gallery to work. I made sure to tick the mark in the app itself. Tried installing multiple times. Reinstalled the app itself, restored envoirment and defaults. Restarted inbetween each step.
Every time I click on the photo preview inside the camera app the screen lags for a sec and does nothing. Camera app stays open and no gallery opens, no option to choose one either.

Any Ideas?

Just tested and it works.

Can you ensure you have the latest app version and reapply the mod.

You can test your battery by opening adb with your phone connected to your computer.

adb dumpsys battery set level 5

I reapplied the mod and it works but this leads me to a question, do i have to reapply the mod everytime i change a value or can I change it on the go? How do I apply them after changing.

Yes if you change a value you have to update mod again. Later I want to be able to save the mods so you can switch without rebuilding.

No it doesn't patch existing cameras, I'll be doing an update in a day or two with 7.0.93 so sit tight.

@zeroprobe just a request, can you make this but with the round google camera icon? So that it would match my current homescreen setup. I do not use iconpacks. Currently using Rootless pixel launcher which enables round icons to some mostly used apps. Thank you.

If I completely delete the Samsung Gallery I can't use another gallery app even if I check the box in your app.
