Why are there so many people bad mouthing this mod? It's the BEST one we have for the s8/+!! The errors are ALL user based.. the mod is working 100% for me. As photography IS my profession, those who are saying they can't see differences are simply BLIND, and/or can't read.

I rode after release iPhone X that Samsung will update camera in Note 8 to add 4k 60 recording. Do you think Samsung will add same update to our S8 / S8+ ?

It works on S8+ but only 1080p so any chance for 4k?

Not sure on the note 8 and what it will be capable of. I'm sure those doing the ports will be able to see if it works on the S8. Not hopeful on that though.

1080p 120 option be within a week should be, shouldn't take too long to do.

Anyways, thank you for telling me it is working for you though. Are you using the app or did you manually place the files? I have only tried the app so far. The logcat shows that the tweek took, but the 2K video is only running at the standard FPS.

Flashed the zip in the OP with flashfire and bought the app, like it was stated to do in the OP. Everything works perfectly for me.

I stand corrected, so no, not just you, others that can't read are facing the same problems.

I asked the OP if anything needed to be done besides using the app and he assured me the app was all that was needed. I don't know why you have been a jerk about it. I do appreciate the information that you're giving though. I'll try flashing the zip as well. By the way, the instructions clearly states that the app is stand alone. Nothing else needed.

QHD 60 is Exynos devices only, the Snapdragon can't seem to get 60fps.
I need to make a Snapdragon zip to take out QHD 60. If you flash the zip it should apply the mod.

Remove your camera first from /system/priv-app/SamsungCamera7/SamsungCamera7.apk
Reboot, and the Camera app should be missing.
Reflash the zip and if the Camera icon is back you know it has been applied.

The App will not apply QHD 60fps for Snapdragon.
