I did a few cycles of charge , discharge ..... today I do a full charge ....100% but after unplug and turn off then remove battery ? and turn the device on the indicator shows 68% .....I think the problem is the device just take the time of charging a 9000mAh as 3000mAh .what are you thing .... ?

You guys don't get it. The OS is locked @3000mah or whatever it maybe. I've tested this on my G4 and i charged with a Slim 4500mah Battery and after my phone says it's charged i played and notice it went down fast. Now i have this battery charger for my G4 and it didn't discharge fast at all. Simply Normal. Now is ya' were smart go to eBay or Amazon and look for the V10 Battery Charger :)

I also did a test with SOT (the screen was on the whole time @40 Brightness) and i got 8HRs with my 4500mah so it proves these so called USB fast charges aren't doing there job as to what I'd thought.

Let'smme show you what I found at yet....the problem is ( the battery indicator of the device is not synchronized with the battery Zerolemon 9000mAh ) Why I said just like this ? .... Take this
After the battery indicator shows 100% ( the voltage of battery should be 4.2 V or 4.3 V ) but the same time I use CPU-Z or Accubattery Apps ....these shows 3.9 V ( that meaning 60-68%) of battery ....ok I unplug the charging power ...turn off ...remove ..returning battery..... The battery indicator shows 62% ( which it's truth) Because of this I keep the power socket keep charging till 7Hours till the cpu-z shows4.3 V ....... IF I DOSN'T TURN OFF AND ETC... the indicator of battery drop down quickly as it is 3000 non 9000....even the cpu-z shows alot of voltage inside battery.

Ok I've already tested with these Apps and I think still they are locked with the Kernel's battery mah. With the AccuBattery App you can change the Mah within the App but NOT with the Kernel. So my test are correct

Is the 9000maH battery worth buying? Or are there still issues with those who have this battery? I am trying not to sell my V10 just to get better battery life :( (I've 3 portable power banks too....)

It'd be great if a few users could chime in and confirm that their batteries are working alright. Thank you!

First off no matter what battery you go with the Snapdragon chipset in this phone is a hot power hog and LG seems to have hard coded the stock battery capacity in the kernel to 3000 mah. That doesn't mean you can't ever use a higher capacity battery but to get the best result you need to do either a factory reset or have a rooted device and delete the calibration file.

I bought a Zerolemon before marshmallow was released and I had not done a reset to clear out the battery calibration, so I noticed the calibration seemed more than little off at times. The phone would not stay on below 3% yet when I temporarily pulled the battery it would power back on and sometimes show as high as like 20-30%. I'm not sure how much you know about charge state estimation but battery charge state is factored by battery voltage so in the short time the battery was pulled the voltage was able to recover slightly once the power load went away. Then when the phone was powered on the capacity algorithm detected the higher voltage, did a capacity estimation based on the calibration file and decided there was actually more power remaining.
Resetting my phone when moving to Marshmallow seemed to help the situation in addition to not swapping back to the stock battery as that WILL mess up the calibration but it still felt like I wasn't getting full capacity. I ended up doing another reset or two and stuck to some charging guidelines that say to never let the battery drop too deeply below 20% if you can avoid it, otherwise you risk hurting your capacity. I've read more recently that if you're charging from a portable battery pack to only charge to 80% and not bother trying a full charge because that last 20% requires more energy than the charge up to 80%. If you absolutely need to top off to 100% do it with the phone off.

My most recent reset was at the end of December when I rooted my phone so there might still be some apps missing from being loaded in the background but now that I'm the good charging habit I usually see well over 12 hours before even hitting 20%. I've also gone well over a day simply from lack of use and forgetting to plug in my phone before I go to sleep. GSam Battery Monitor is showing Average Battery life per complete charge is 22h 55m (13h 30m Active) with Screen on average of 4h 46m (14h 15m Max) and those stats are since Apr 29, 2016.

One thing I should mention is the battery I originally bought had a badly soldered connector that eventually broke off after a couple months. Which I think could have contributed to the seemingly weak capacity I was getting. I contacted ZeroLemon, sent it back and they sent me a whole new battery, no charge since I was still well within the 180 day warranty.

I have a single 20,000 mah portable battery that I carry all the time and I recently received a quick charge adapter for in the car. If I know I'm going to be at a place that has a power outlet available when my battery is getting low I take the stock LG quick charger since it takes so much longer to top off the 9000mah battery.

Going on almost a year with a ZeroLemon my only gripes is there isn't NFC support and a more rugged Otterbox style case that'll work without modification. I did buy an NFC sticker that I got to work and an Otterbox but I've been too unsure at where and how to cut it cause it's a bit awkward to get the two halves of the case lined up. I probably just need to take the time and make some kind of holder to keep the top and bottom of the case lined up while I mark where to cut. Just based off of a dry fit I'm pretty certain it can be done but it could make the bottom of the case a bit weaker.

I have a zerolemon 9000mah for my v10, so far I have not gotten it to work. I had the zl for my note 2, sgs3, note 3 and lg g3 before and none of them gave me a headache quite like this. I know that zl batteries are awesome, so either I have a lemon or I must be doing something wrong as regards to calibrating. I have done the 12hr initial charge, and have charged the battery to 100 without fast charge or quick charge. I think I may have done more than 10 cycles...sometimes I get 10hrs sot, sometimes 8. Most of the time however, I get 4-5hrs sot only.

Someone here have the same issue and fixed it? I'm currently running on stock nougat for my f600s.

I've been using this battery for a few months. What I've noticed (which is obvious by now) that battery percentage is not tied directly to battery voltage, which is pretty stupid. The only time it estimates percentage based on voltage is when the battery is removed and put back in..

Here's what I did to get an honest 2 days out of mine... download an app to see battery voltage (I'm using accubattery but any will do). run it down to about 10% and see what the voltage reads... if it's above 3.5v, remove the battery and insert it again and power the phone up. you should see a higher %.. repeat this until voltage is down to under 3.5v (youtube at full brightness runs it down pretty well). When it finally is under 3.5v, plug it in and leave it plugged in until voltage is up to ~4.2-4.3.. you can leave the phone on. the display will say 100% WAY before that. in my case it would say 100% at only 3.7v which is nowhere near fully charged. just leave it plugged in until it reaches whatever peak voltage is. mine is ~4.35v

What happens is the display will say 100% as soon as it calculates 3000mah of capacity no matter what the voltage is.

currently mine will stay over 90% for almost the entire day before slowly dropping. It still will reach 100% while charging several hours before the battery is actually full, but if it's over 4.2V when I unplug the charger, the battery level seems fairly accurate while discharging. Plug the charger in for 5 minutes or any amount of time where it doesn't fully charge the battery (4.2v+) and it screws it all up and you have to start over. Same if you pull the battery.

I might think about getting this, I still have the stock LG battery in my h90130c and it would be a huge improvement to go to 9000 mAh from 3000 mAh. What I could do is after when I get the battery is I will find the calibration file and then either edit it to the specs of the ZL battery or delete it and hope that itll regenerate a new file that will match the ZL battery. It is worth a test and as of now I do have an "Enjoybot 10000 mAh battery bank". Still the battery in my v10 still needs to be replaced before it suffers the same fate of my s5 active battery which was swelling up. Testing would be fun.

ZeroLemon extended batteries are a must, as the stock batteries are completely inadequate in almost all phones. I have upgraded all phones that could take ZL batteries, such as V10, V20, Note 4.

I have very good runtime with mine, however the runtime declines. I try not to charge the phone to 100% and don't go below 40%.
