UKM doesnt add any feature it lets you control features in your kernel

Hello. I'm having a problem installing on my old but still good S4 (i9500). I follow all recommended steps, but the message appeared that my device is not supported. But this is strange, since I use a custom kernel that worked well with Synapse previously

back in the days Synapse was builded in one of s4 kernels, this one support only few devices .
go tu UKM reborn thread and use UKM from there it will work

Sorry for sounding like a stupid noob right now, but will this work on an LG G4 running LineageOS 14.1? It's not in your supported devices list, but there are some people commenting about having this on their Galaxy S7 Edge and that device isn'tin your supported devices list either, so that's why I asked.

Nice work dude and useful for most people but not me:.:crying: I've follow how to install on lollipop but it doesn't work when i try to execute via terminal, can u help me dude? Answer is simply you are in wrong thread . Find UKM Reborn . This one is original UKM who support only handfull of devices.

628Hello and welcome! So I started this because I hated having to have a different app to change some of the kernel settings and having init.d scripts for each kernel was a hassle to me, plus some users were having trouble with so many options available so I created this for all those who like to flash & test different kernels like me. I would like to dedicate this project of mine to my friend @ak for all the help and patience he has, he truly is a great dev and we owe him for some of the best kernels available for the Nexus 4.
So how this works is on every boot the script verifies all the tunables it finds specific for the kernel you have at the moment and generates the necessary files so it can be read & displayed on Synapse. Don't feel bad if you don't see all the listed options, it's just your kernel doesn't have those available.
In time I will be adding more scripts so we can have most, if not ALL tunables I can cram into. Hope you like it!

I know I said weekend but 1 day delay is not so bad right? :silly:. Anyways here we are, new version of UKM with loads of new features, fixes & new devices as promised, the Sony Xperia Z1, LG G3, HTC One M8, Moto G 2013, Moto G 4G 2013, and finally and oldie but favorite Galaxy Nexus join the lineup for UKM support.
I've also added a way to check if UKM is installed correctly but doing a pre-check to see if all files are present, if there's any files missing it will notify it in the status tab. This happens a lot with certain ROMS that have additional security in the init.d folder.

As promised here's the new version ready to flash for you guys :victory:.
Most notable change is the new backup script which automagically re-installs UKM after every ROM flash or upgrade so no more need to flash the installer zip to make it work again!. Please note that for this to work your ROM needs to support addon.d scripts, if it doesn't it UKM will work as always. Also because of this new backup script I've uploaded a new uninstaller which cleans all files and prevents UKM from autoinstalling again.
We also have new devices which are: Moto G 2014, Samsung Galaxy S3, Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

It's that time again!. This update brings a lot of new stuff in the mix like additional tools (Optimize DB, Drop Caches), some new requested features (Vibrator for OPO, finer tuned CPU voltages), @eng.stk new hotplug (Blu_plug) and additional device support to UKM (hell yeah!).
I've been keeping an eye on all kernels & devices that are using UKM as their to-go kernel manager and found out a few devices are working properly but have been resorting to changing the config file to make it work, so with that I have to say to you... Not anymore!!! :victory:, with that I welcome the LG Optimus G (all gee variants), LG G Pad 8.3 (v500) & Nexus 7 2012 (grouper/tilapia) to the UKM device list.
