Try it... If it fails just flash the FTF package from 2nd post... It will flash compatible kernel...

Anybody with customization 1270-6779_R5A (Nordic firmware) tried it on their 6503?

Whoow, worked... So I've got that DE .ftf, but I don't know which customization it is right now...
If it's '1266-7597_R5A' I can flash that .ftf file and then use this new Easy Rooting Toolkit v12, for rootacces...
So I only have to wait on the answer if that uploaded .ftf file has the right customization...
@ DooMLoRD: Do you know if you can 'read-out' a .ftf file for customization without having it flashed on your telephone (and read it out than)

Can I help to do a global root method? Providing files maybe. I have a c6502 with 10.3.A.0.423 customization 1270-757_R4B (I think so, it's what it says under Active customization in service info menu).

You need to enable usb debugging. Go to the about menu, click on the firmware release a few times.. Then viola, it appears.what`s the problem? i wait 10 minutes and dont run????? anybody can help me??? i already install flash tool driver , flash kernel C6503 , and dont work???

i have a 506 what could happen if i install 4.2.2. for 506 and the the kernel ftf 503 in my device to enable root?
No, I tried it and it doesn't work. We need to wait on the more generic root method that Doom is working on.

no it is still very specific to kernel/device...
for now i am removing dependence on customization & variant...
i think i'll have to wait a bit more than other people...
but many thanks for your excellent rooting tools, i have used them in other phones and they work like a charm...
i'll try to survive a little bit more on my "unrootable" phone...
well the truth is that i only need root for directory bind. or if you guys know a diferent way ti pass my 25gb of data
