If it's still there, than it's probably not a bug...

For me too. But it's hard to call it a feature. Probably they didn't noticed it. I haven't do a full wipe yet, but I'm quite sure it will solve the issue.
Let's wait for other feedbacks and see if we are alone or not.

Guys, I have a noob question. If flash my S9 plus without being an official beta tester I won't have OTAs and will need to flash hotfix on every release but when ONE UI stable goes official will I, automatically be updated via OTA or do I have to revert back?

1. You can revert back with Odin to Oreo, but you'll have to reset your device
2. You can flash the Official Pie with Odin (when released in your country), your data will stay intact and you'll receive OTA's again

It's a feature and not a bug, i got the confirmation from Samsung France when i reported the space.

It makes typing easier. It's like that on the iPhone X too. Btw it's only there if you use Samsung's keyboard. I'm using gboard and I don't have it even though I would want it

I tried Sam's+ but over here the option for the beta program doesn't appear.
Can I follow the instructions listed at the first page and start the Beta program?

No...

Beta-program is for selected countries only, and the files are for the INTERNATIONAL SM-G960F or SM-G965F only (so not for your SM-G9650 device)
