After testing video output today, small issue on my desktop icons come (picture1 & picture2). The only way out I've found is to clean data of ZUI desktop home.!!Don't clean red ZUI Home!!:
Update: On the application manager, check "Show system" available in the three-dot menu at the top right. then look for PC Mode Desktop app and try clearing cache and data (clearing data will delete all icons sent to desktop)

Thanks. To be honest there's a good chance I ruined video output functionality myself with a fairly extreme adb debloat straight out the box. I'll get to the bottom of it eventually when I can be arsed, probably...
I've tried clearing both cache and data from the ZUI desktop app but still facing the same issue

Apparently I was able to find app in the app manager called PC Mode Desktop and clear from there without root
You're right: PC Mode Desktop can be accessed in the application manager, just check "Show system" available in the three-dot menu at the top right.

Have you try to clearing cache and data ?
This will will delete all icons sent to desktop, but this is not a chalenge to send it back.

My device is a TB-J716F ZUI 14.0.127, but I think this should work with all ZUI 14 devices supporting PC Mode.
Sorry about that but, as I can't reproduce it, I have no more ideas for this issue.
If anyone has faced overlapping icons, and solved it: It will be a good idea to report here...

6Update : I've finally managed to do it without need of installing "Setedit".
As I have repeatedly read of users being disappointed with the lack of PC Mode in ZUI 14, so I decided to look into this.
My application simply does this with no other manipulations than a simple click on the application.
The first time you will run it, this will ask you permission to modify settings but your device will go to the desktop mode before you have time to do it.
When you will be in desktop mode if you run again on the app. You will be asked again and have to allow permission to modify settings. For a strange reason that’s only really required, for going back to the classic mode.

!!Don't clean red ZUI Home!!:ZUI desktop Home is hidden by Lenovo app manager. So I use Apps2SD PRO > Link app > search for ZUI > Seleect blue ZUI Home > (three dots bottom left) manage> (picture3) storage > clean data (you will lose all the desktop icons sent to the desktop, so you can try to clean cache only and report here)

If setedit is installed and if you have already run it once to change zui_pc_mode. Install my app, allow it to change system and you can turn PC mode on and off just by launching it.2I just uploaded a new version.
Contrary to what I had first thought. The only really useful element in the source code of setedit, is as far as we are concerned: "targetSdkVersion 22" present in: build.gradle.
The shared key, present in the Sources of Setedit, pushed me to do the same. For this new version made available to you, I did not make this mistake, since nothing prevents you from compiling yours with your own key.1

Yes like, with setedit you will be able to switch to pc mode even when the tablet is not connected to external monitor or TV.
