It would be useful if everybody would post whether they are on Dalvik or ART just to eliminate some possible sources of failure on this. I haven't done this myself, but only because I'm waiting to see if it's simply an ART issue.

ES File Explorer. I set the correct permissions before copying over the files in the framework folder.

Did you make sure to set system to r/w first before copying the files? My phone rebooted the first time I copied them before I set system to r/w.

Good. You should post a thread because I am probably going to pull mine
I hope you're not pulling it because of my post. I was just answering your question.
Even this WiFi tether has issues. If you use it, you'll need to reboot to get WiFi to work again.
I hope you're only pulling it to fix some of the issues people are having.

I'm not pulling it because of you. I'm going to pull it because I am certain that it is user error trying to install it. Therefore it needs to wait until we have a recovery and I can make it into a flashable. I can't have people blaming the files that I did up saying they bricked their device when I know if done right, will work fine. Even if some of our phones might have different hardware, like screens. They still all run the same exact software. There is no reason for it to work on some phones and others have issues. I haven't had one fc on my phone at all. On top of that. No one is posting any helpful information as to the exact steps they took , so that I may see where something went wrong.

Ok here

Step:
1 open Rom toolbox
2 extract
3 copy
4 paste
5 set rw-r--r perms
6 Reboot
7 use for a few hours/reboots
8 stuff starts acting wonky

How on earth would it effect any changes if system was not marked r/w? Are you saying that attempting to write without write permissions will cause the phone to reboot? I set root explorer, but I screwed up by not checking /system permission. I just don't understand how that could screw up my phone.

REPORT

I installed last night before bed so, I didn't have time to play. Woke up this morning to no glaring issues. Been using phone since 5a this morning with no issues. No FC's at all.

I am running on ART, followed instructions to the letter.

I changed system permission rebooted, moved both files and changed permissions on each, rebooted, installed the listed wifi app, rebooted.

No isses, no FC, no ". wonkyness"
