This is my 3rd since the mod came out and I'm not having any issues at all. I'm using Dalvic and had my hotspot on for at least 8 hours straight without any issues.

I'm on dalvik.also......used solid explorer to change permissions....was fine at first but then lost ability to open any user app...stock apps like file manager would open..and settings...but no user app

Same happened to mine, fully agree with holding till recovery i had 12 hours of grief getting my phone back to stock and functioning properly..
Side note it worked great as far as tethering functionality!
I'd love to use stock Wi-Fi hotspot. But in the meantime, will I be able to use Wi-Fi tether app successfully while being rooted?

Currently using Wifi Tether Router myself with root, no issues to speak of other than 1.
When i launch tethering the signal to my Logitech G700's go crazy. It goes back to normal after about 10 to 15 seconds though so it works fine to me lol

Well I used my phone as a guinea pig and found a way for this to work, only way to work on my device at least. Quite different instructions. If I can have at least 2 brave souls PM me if interested. Make sure you have everything backed up from internal storage as you'll lose everything. Pictures, movies, downloads etc.

Cant download it. There are two apks for WifiCalling I need. I can take calls but I can't make them since I deleted WifiCalling after I carrier unlocked it was wake locking bad. Should have just disabled them.
