It looks like they are still only changing the device self service version on the G3 rdf's. Dss version on MM on my note is 6.0.0.1, so that might be another lollipop update. Still no 5.1 on the g3 right?

LG has posted the ls990ZVE open source on its open source page. We are very close to getting Marshmallow now!!!So they found an issue in testing the ROM and needed a new build, but there's no reason for it not to be 6.01. The RDF is never accurate of version number.
I"m concerned that it's listed as Lollipop. The Verizon MM update is listed as M_OS. There's no reason it shouldn't be MM but again, I'm concerned.LG has posted the ls990ZVE open source on its open source page. And the source file says lollipopLooks like just a security update for 5.0.1. The source files are all over a year old.

I also just installed what I was hoping was MM, but found I was still sitting at 5.0.1 when all was said and done. Only the security was updated to 05-01-2016 file settings in my About Phone screen.yeah, ZVE is still 5.0.1. I just installed it.
If you aren't rooted then by all means take the OTA, it's a security update. If you are rooted, it won't install. Is there any reason to switch to this then? I just received the ota update
