bump charge

So...I don't think this has been brought up here before, so I figure I'll be the dummy who asks. :) If I recalibrate (bump charge), and wipe battery stats, is it safe to assume that swapping out batteries (spares) will mess this up? I plan on picking up a spare battery, but wondered about this...
