Hello. I am trying to showcasing something from Android to HDMI out. I do use another app as overlays (display over other app), but I just want showcase the particular app not the whole screen. Is there anyway I can do it? Rooted, Android 10. More like making HDMI to show one particular app...

I was under the impression that any phone using Snapdragon that has a USB 3.1 port should be able to support HDMI/DisplayPort. That's why I bought the 4a. Imagine my chagrin when I found out it doesn't work. After doing some digging around... it seems that this might be disabled at the Kernel...

It looks like DisplayPort Alt Mode is supported by the hardware and needs to be enabled in the kernel. Anyone know if there are there any kernels out there with this enabled that we can flash? Willing to try and do it myself I wanted to see if anybody had tried before?
