lg g5 modular phone

I had a chance to try the LG G5 at its launch Event in India. After Spending some Time, I was more confused than i was Amused by the fact that it was a Modular Smartphone. ARA isn't around and we don't know when it will be. But Is LG G5 a true concept of Modularity ? Or is it just a Hybrid-ish...
