A while ago I bought a Mediapad M3. Once I realized the 5GHz band was disabled on the US version, I was hellbent on getting it working. I eventually got it working through a bastardized hybrid of the Chinese (BTV-W09C233) and the US (BTV-W09C128) versions. There were a lot of problems with it...
