root sch-i605

I have the Note 2 SCH-I605 running 4.3 and am having a hard time rooting the phone. I have read many post here, some say you cant root once you do the OTA to 4.3. And others say you can with different methods but none have seemed to work. I have turned my phone off then held the home button...
