t2 ultra

My D5303 5.1.1 was OK before connecting to google servers I'm not sure if after I rooted it using Kingroot that I can't connect & it always says "check your connection" when i have a live connection. Un-installed kingroot which takes out root BUT still the phone cannot connect to google server...

Has anyone been successful into rooting the D5316 running 5.1.1? I've used the FlashTool and tried other options, but no sucess on either. I've never owned a phone with no current ROM's or easy root..... Just crazy, thanks in advance for any help offered. :)
