Can you extract me your stock boot or recovery image and send it to me? I'd then build TWRP with the kernel from your tablet and we'll see what happens

I am not getting any touch input when booting your image.
Here are the infos of my Lenovo Tab:

Hope you can help me.

Don't hurry for me -- I used a USB2G mouse to get SuperSU going, but happy to help test.

=== Edit ===

OK sorry guys.
I didn`t understand, that you only need TWRP to flash SuperSU.
Once SuperSU is flashed (by using a attached mouse) the touch is working normaly in Android and the device is rooted successfully.

Thanks to matshias for the great work

If I mount /system R/W using shell or Root Explorer the system freezes and has to reboot.

In other news.. touch is now working (seems to have started after I connected a mouse?)

Outstanding work! This tablet so far seems to be the only successor to the Nexus 7 (2013) with better specs (USB-C, SDcard, fingerprint, more RAM and storage). I'll order mine as soon as I can see a dedicated forum for it AND a custom ROM with the usual frills that stock Android doesn't provide.

Thanks! Had this tablet for a few weeks now and the only thing I was really missing was root!
Hope we'll also get Lineage soon, but that'll make this beauty just perfect (well, IMHO)!

Check page 2, towards the end. Matshias post with MEGA link. It's a system image. You can flash in fastboot to gain system
