Every time I try to restore a ROM from a nandroid backup, it says something like...can't restore, read only. I know when you're in TWRP recovery and you click on Mount, there's a checkbox. But mine is unchecked and still I can't restore from a backup. Have tried backing up in internal memory and on SD card...still no luck. Any suggestions?

This is a challenging one to answer myself as there can be a few reasons for this happening.
