Thanks so much for still supporting this device buddy. Much appreciated. I don't have much money but I'm gonna make a small donation. Hopefully others will as well.

Im change this value, and still to much, i dont know why. I think that the value for 1000ms of vibration is too high, in the value of 1ms to 999 ms is okay. Unfortunately while call and alarms kernel use 1000ms and its to high for me. I apologize for the chaotic explanation.

Hey @tbalden, I was wondering if there were instructions on updating the k adaway hosts / repository? I think I read instructions but that was way back from the U11 days. Still love running your kernel. Not worried about updates (considering HTC hasn't updated their base anyway) but it would be nice to be able to keep my hosts up to date.

Thanks!!

1) I understand the Config app is necessary to configure kernel options, but I'm not quite sure what the Companion app is for. Is the Companion app required to run this kernel or does it work fine without it?

2) Does this kernel include the touchscreen fix for TWRP recovery?

To have the full feature set working, companion app is needed. Sensor data is being gathered by it and forwarded to the kernel

Yes, it includes the fix

Thanks!!

You can use the Steven Black repo from github to gather a new hosts file then place it on the sdcard, replacing the preinstalled one
Also you can use other pre prepared hosts file too
