I run all tests on LineageOS 16.0 / 17.1

Q: What is the best GCam mod for LG 20?

Q: Is GCam v7 better?
A:
In princial yes, as Google includes new features in every new version of Gcam.
For Android 10 / LOS 17.1, for sure, as GCam v7 has been developed for Android 10; it works on Android 9 as well, though.
The downturn is that v7 has less advanced settings available to play around with.

Q: Why use at the minimum GCam v6?
A: Versions below this do not support Night Sight, an amazing feature.

Q: I cannot save pictures / videos on Android 10
A: Perform this commands. Note: It does not work if you have the problem on Android 9

Yeah i am on Los 17.1 official. I used V7.3 , V6.1, and Mk joker version still no audio..

Please kindly tell me the version u are using and the gcam mod too so i can try..

Curious about the improvments using Gammakernel over stock LOS 17.1 kernel ... was there something specific you were trying to overcome? Is it just more stable or less battery usage or faster or ..?

I notice better battery, however I don't know what was the ultimate cause that gcam runs now. I just wrote down all the steps I did, would be curious if someone else had crashes with gcam.. And what did they do about it...

It is based on the latest GCAM so having an android pie is a must (mentioned in the post) and luckily I am on android pie (F800K). It seems to be as snappy as tr camera

It kept crashin for me. Not sure if someone has the right config to bring it to work on the v20?

This camera seems to working well than tcamera. I just download it and start using it. I also found 4k video recording. Camera is responsive with Lineage 17.1.

The rare camera is a good shooter.

Do any of these have a full manual mode? (in case they all do what am I missing?) Google's night mode is great but I'd rather shoot at low ISO and long exposure if I have a something to rest the phone against.
