NO LONGER USING MY G2, AND I NOW HAVE G4. SUPPORT WILL BE VERY LIMITED IF ANY. THANKS.


Heres TMO official Lollipop 30b rooted extracted from 30b kdz.

Must be on 39a bootstack or u will bootloop.

U can probaby dirty flash over LP 30a.

Steps to flash ROM:
Step 1: Full wipe if not on TMO LP 30a ROM.
Step 2: Flash 39a Bootstack.
Step 3: Flash ROM.

If you coming from xxbbeb's g3 rom and are on 26a or 27a bootstack and want to use this rom, you can flash this bumped boot.img and kernel after you first flash the rom so you can boot. Thanks to original bump team.

btw, heres 27a radio that shows up as unknown in baseband. But for me it locks in 4g lte better. Only no data on calls.

I needed this a week ago and couldn't find anything decent. Thanks to you it looks like I'll be giving this a whirl next month when my next Allset bill comes due.

Thanks. I'm gonna test out tmobile by next weekend. If i get good 4g lte at home I'll port my numbers from Cricket. If not I'll cancel.

Wierd, I dirty flashed this as I came from another one of ur Tmobile ROM ports I must have flashed one originally. As a development question what goes into porting this? The g3 is actually on 4.4.4 and this ROM is 4.4.2 not that big a deal just wondering how you port it.

Any ROM will work; you have to have a valid SIM and your phone has to be unlocked. You may also have to add the correct APNs. But other than that any ROM should work.

Just adding my 2 cents here,

Any ROM for the VS980 will work with the correct APN..... don't recommend going to T-Mobile Rom section and try installing a rom from that specific device cuz you are just going to have problems, but other than that any AOSP for VS980 (Asssuming this is the Device you are using) will work with any Carrier with the Correct APN.
