I've not seen the file for the Developer Edition stock recovery anywhere. Pretty much everyone who bought the original batch of DE's flashed twrp TMO version as soon as they got home, then flashed SuperSU.
But thanks for thinking of us and asking.

I was hoping someone might of extracted it with dd after rooting. I guess I can check out sammobile.

Maybe I'm not fully understanding how this works, but since the T-Mobile TWRP works (except Cyanogen thinks it's a T-Mobile phone) couldn't we use the 4.3 T-mobile firmware and just tweak the build to say it's "hltevzw" instead of "hltetmo"?

Because of how Samsung did the first batch of Dev edition devices, our only hope of getting the real firmware file was if someone bought this phone last year and never took it or of the box.

I guess we can do that. Do you have the 4.3 bootloader?

I don't have the stock (Verizon) bootloader, no. Unfortunately I overwrite it with the T-Mobile TWRP shortly after I got the phone.

I believe this is the firmware the T-mobile one was based off of: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=19395 (N900TUVUBMI7)

This is the TWRP that is currently kinda working for us 4.3 Dev Edition users: http://www.techerrata.com/file/twrp2...ltetmo-4.3.zip 2.8 one might work - I haven't tried it.

I'm trying to hunt down the 4.3 extracted stock bootloader... Since there is a build of TWRP for T-mobile already, I'm assuming it's out there somewhere.

I would rather use the dtb from stock just from a purist point of view. Can you post it here?

EDIT:

These are using hltetmo kernel and dtb:

http://techerrata.com/bigbiff/openre...zw-4.3.img.tar
http://techerrata.com/bigbiff/openre...ltevzw-4.3.zip

If you have 4.3 BL please test.

Okay links work now.

I installed it - so far so good. I've rebooted into recovery and system boots.

I'm going to run a backup, install CM, and try restoring from a backup, but it seems promising.

Everything I tested worked fine. Backed up a ROM, installed CM, and restored a ROM.
