LineageOS 14.1 for vs985, with 4CA blobs!
---- Supports Model vs985 ONLY! ----

What this is:
Pretty standard nightly build of los14.1 for our vs985. However, I dumped the kdz for the newest stock release (4ca) and updated all of the blobs (with small exception of GPS relate things).

Installation:
1) I recommend a full wipe in TWRP. (Dirty flash might cause strange bits to happen.)
2) Flash my TWRP (not needed, but it works with encryption, this is a beta I whipped up, not really a "real" release.)
3) Flash my bootstack (which includes the 4ca modem).
NOTE: You will see a secure boot error with this bootstack. However, bumped things will still boot (yea, really... good job LG!)
To install ROM, just flash the zip! (Note: The zip isn't signed.) My zip flashes everything you need for the ROM to work correctly.
4) Flash the ROM.
5) Flash magisk (if you want).

Known Issues:
-My screen randomly freezes (maybe once per day). If you wait 1 minute, it will unfreeze and resume normal operation. Seriously, just wait, it will unfreeze. I bought the phone off ebay and didn't use it at all unmodded, so not sure if I bought a dud or if it is the software. Please test and let me know. HALP??
edit: I am running a stock LOS build to see about the freezing issue - my device still gets these little freezes, so its either my device or a LOS problem generally (los or los device tree / kernel)
-Possibly some blob issues? I've checked logs somewhat thoroughly and am open to mods/changes. Please other devs HALP!!
-GPS: I had to use old blobs for this. I tried numerous variations with the updated blobs and the best result I had was working GPS that never recognized a lock (even though it locked on, it always said 0 satellites locked).

To all dev's please help solve any remaining blob issues. GPS especially made me angry, but the current solution actually has full functionality.

Comparatively, the random screen freeze has me puzzled, but not super annoying since it does unfreeze after a relatively short amount of time.

Related logcat to the freeze:

Unfortunately, system ui crash has about a million possibilities when you google...

edit: I will continue using this ROM, but it seems interest in this old device is dead, so I'm not going to keep updating thread unless some activity kicks up. I wish LOS would fix the damn UI bug they created...

edit2: Will keep dumping my builds into the new download link. These are builds I am using, but still might be buggy.

Do you still need the RIL in the vs985 tree for this to work?

Thanks. Works well for me. Same occasional screen freezes. Otherwise kosher.
