Root on Marshmallow via Dirty Cow Exploit

Hello,

I was reading the news today and came across this new exploit http://arstechnica.com/security/201...ed-by-most-serious-linux-escalation-bug-ever/ for Android that appears to affect numerous devices. Would it be possible to root Marshmallow on the VS990 using this vector?

Pretty much from what I read yes but until I see it in action I am skeptical

After further reading they are having serious issues making it work. They said anything before 4.1 it works great but after not so much. They are trying but so far the thought is android 5, 6, 7 all lack something or do not do things the way PC Linux does.

Ran dirty cow via adb

I ran dirty cow through and and it worked. I will try again tomorrow to get a root shell. For some reason after successfully running the exploit. It wouldn't allow me to get the root shell. I may have been missing commands?

I have an ATT H900 V10. 6.0
