Access Bootloader

  • Power off device by holding power key for more than 15 seconds
  • With device off, press and hold power key. Keep holding after the initial vibrate until it vibrates 2 more times then let go. Takes about 5 seconds.
  • Device should come up in a black/white text screen and show Bootloader Version:954

From this you an choose with one button click between:

  • Normal Mode
  • Recovery Mode
  • Power Off

When you hold the button you are selecting the option.

I will show you the recovery mode. It will show you the Motorola Logo first, then it will show your the Android with a Warning.

Press over the Android robot and it will show you some options, you can swipe up/down to select:

  • reboot system now
  • apply update from ADB
  • wipe data/factory reset
  • wipe cache partition
