The Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100G was released in late 2011 as a second international variant of the Galaxy S II, and is usually sold instead of the original GT-I9100 in certain markets (mostly Asia and some parts of Europe).

While visually identical to the GT-I9100, it instead features a Texas Instruments OMAP4430 SoC instead of the original Exynos 4210, rendering it incompatible with ROMs intended for the I9100 and vice versa. However, due to the relative ease of development and the openness of the TI OMAP platform, the GT-I9100G has been steadily gaining community support and custom ROMs, such as CyanogenMod.
