Hey. No you can't, MIUI is based on lollipop. This kernel is MM only.

And make sure you use this one

Thanks, currently on MIUI and wondering why it has better optimization. Even on very low cpu frequency there is still zero lag in the overall UI compared to CM.

It's probably that it's a heavily modified version. I'd say more modified than Touchwiz.
So they might have something working in the background, I've noticed they have some cleaning apps APIs which if done right could be what it uses.

If you use Mobile Data together with Location then it's mostly normal that your phone heats up.

I use air plane mode with offline navigation...
