Might be in same path in /storage/????-????/Android/... depending on your sdcard usage settings

I'm under the impression this is a security update to patch Qualcomm chip vulnerabilities. I emailed Wileyfox support regarding this a few weeks ago and they recently replied confirming with upcoming patches/updates.

Installed this update today. Phone locked up after reboot. Had to power off and on again - thankfully recovered OK after that. Don't see anything different.

Yes, it was under the path above.

I had to reflash the stock boot and recovery partitions, then I was able to install the update

Re-installed TWRP and flashed SuperSU 2.74 afterwards, everything working perfectly

Hey there, recently got the Swift & was welcomed by a Cyanogen OS update message. Out of the box, it came with CM12.1.1 (5.1.1) while the update touted CM version 13.0, as shown in the screenshots below. This thread alerted me to an OTA for CM13.1.

While I don't intend on rooting it just yet (the phone is for someone else), I'd like to keep the option open for the future. As such, would some advise/recommend if I should go ahead with the updates or stay as is? From prior experience with my age-old Samsung Note 2, I'm keen on the latest CM updates but I'd like to understand more about the options before deciding.

If anyone would be kind enough to point me in direction of rooting guides & such, that'd be much appreciated as well. Cheers!

Best do all the updates (first to 13.0, then 13.1) and then root it, will save yourself some steps if/when you root it

Cheers! Went through about 3 CM updates (13.0 > 13.1 > 13.1) with the latest android security patch level currently standing at the 1st of September. They were some pretty hefty update sizes so quite glad that the 12GB available is up to the task.

Any pointers towards rooting guides for the Swift?

Tbh, easiest way to root is to replace recovery with TWRP, you'll find an unofficial version here on XDA, it's what I'm using.

After that, get a copy of SuperSU 2.76 and flash it from recovery, and that should be you done!

Skype mod is integrated into the Dialer application, Cortana only works in the US
