Which fastboot log files are you referring to? And can't they be deleted as well?

You need a special cable for debricking your device

At step 2, when I plug my phone into my PC it always comes up with "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)". On the few times where it came up with "Qualcomm HS QDLoader 9008", I tried to update the drivers and then the device became unrecognised again. Now I can't even get it to come up with "Qualcomm HS QDLoader 9008", meaning that QFIL doesn't recognise it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: Eventually I got "Qualcomm HS QDLoader 9008" to show up again. I didn't bother to install the drivers this time, but the other steps worked anyway.
