Cant get internet working all of a sudden on this phone
have rebooted router, phone, removed battery checked settings etc and still nothing
Airplane on and off etc... it picks up my router and says connected b ut nothing
tried wifi fixer from g'play and says all is well

No 5GHz therefor no 802.11ac wifi
Can you access the Play store? Try to also check if you have at least one sim card in one of the slots. If you are using the sim to access internet, then you might have to disable mobile data on it first before trying out the wifi which is 2.4GHz only, therefor the Swift misses out on 5GHz Wi-Fi and, with it, 802.11ac support.

Glad to hear that your Swift was not at fault there. It's always assumed that the new device would be the one at fault for no connectivity, but one never asks if the old network is ready for the new device.
