Hey, great news, could u explain further?.
By what u say i belive that u installed this los 15.1 image, then found a GSI for AOSP (probably by phhusson) ,flashed it and it booted successfully?.
If so, is it safe as a daily driver?. I wanted a ROM as stock as possible and AOSP is it.
I apologize beforehand for my ignorance, i am not a dev but learning step by step!.

im testing it right now but i found little bug with gapps. sometimes apps stucks at download pending but reboot solves it. Camera app not responding but after few reboots it will be fine. another things are fine for now

Edit: Force closing play store will fix it. No reboot needed

Can you please attach a logcat for those bugs :) will be very helpful

Hello @q0kHaN.
I've installed @phhusson AOSP 8.1 Treble and it works fine, it's fast and smooth. I encountered some less serious problems like clock alarm don't work (i've installed Google Clock manually to solve it), auto brightness don't work and i can't install some applications from play store, i got this message: "The device is not compatible with this version", Google Clock, Google Photos are examples of such applications. (I've got installed OpenGapps ARM64 8.1)
Installing them manually, they work just fine :)

Thankyou so much for testing ? A new update would be in few days as I'm having end semester exams will take some few days to complete .. stay tuned.

I think apps compatibility is related with treble. I am using AOSP 8.1 inbuilt gapps still same problem occurs. Also I've found a little bug which is long presses on hw keys

treble means.... there are 3 partitions in android rom.... 2 are vendor oriented and framework oriented google uses framework one and oems uses vendor one.... android has a problem of very less phone getting os updates so to curve that android introduced treble that only updates framework or os differently
