3) Extract the cm10 rom on ur pc.....u will get a kernel "boot.img"
4) Put the kernel in fastboot folder.....connect your E in fastboot mode (volume up + usb cable) and open command prompt and type "fastboot flash boot boot.img"....wait till it is over
5) Now disconnect USB cable and press power on button....wen the bottom led turns on, keep pressing volume up button....now u will be in CWM recovery
6) Now select "install zip from sdcard" and select the SU binary...wait till it finishes installing
7) Now remove the battery from your phone and put it back in
8) Open Flashtool and select only the kernel.sin and loader.sin to flash
9) After it completes flashing, Reboot ur phone
10) Voila! your Xperia E is now rooted!

P.S - Those who are facing bootloop after unlocking bootloader, flash the whole stock ftf using flashtool

Method 2 -

2. Check "tested models" to know whether your phone can be rooted or not
3. If your phone is listed, download SRSroot
4. Install it and run
5. Enable 'USB debugging' on your device (you can find this in the settings menu)
6. Enable 'Unknown Sources' on your device (Also under settings)
7. Connect your device to the computer (If needed install the android drivers)
8. Click on one of the ROOT options (try the other options if you fail to root in the first time) in this software, follow the instructions when rooting, and wait till it's finished

1- instead of downloadin the whole cm10 rom,you could upload only boot.img
2- sony official website tells that to unlock bootloader we need android sdk.. give a direct link for that
3-where will i find the fast boot folder which you mentioned in 3rd step
4- the stock Rom link isn't working
5-in the su binary link these files are there.. which one to download -
ARM devices (2.0 – 4.1)
3.1.3
md5:
b3c89f46f014c9df7d23b94d37386b8a
Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
binary only

su-bin-3.1.1-arm-signed.zip

x86 devices (2.0 – 4.1)
3.1.3

md5:
ac3a002b8e6d16a06e8895122089b8e7
Superuser-3.2-RC3-x86-signed.zip
6- when usually powering on the phone the bottom.led gets on only after the complete phone is booted up.. how about that??
a video tutorial would be perfect
