One more thing missing from CM11.

When screen is locked - anyone can pull down the quick settings tiles and enable / disable WiFi / bluetooth / airplane mode etc. This is security risk in case the phone is stolen. Because person can disable phone tracking easily. (I know he can simply remove battery too) but still it should not be allowed.

So just reporting in case it was overlooked.

Since Cyanogen recovery doesn't have those options, we need to flash that zip in order to perform a format system.

It's on CM11 but not on CM12.

I was running the previous lx version for my haida (kitkat , the 12/24 build). Cleared the cache, system and data first and then flashed the boot.img from the new lollipop build for haida. Proceeded to flashing the system format tool and clearing the data and cache again. I then flashed the rom. It goes to the boot animation and is basically stuck there . Left it for 3-4 hrs , still no luck. Some help people?

Necessary patches are already merged and I don't have that issue neither with wifi, nor with hotspot now. Are you sure its not your router?

Nightlies are made from CM sources, whiles those alpha ones are new LegacyXperiaAOSP builds and there is another thread for it:
