What is the difference between AOSP and AOSX ?
We have integrated the follow features in AOSP :
  • BlueZ bluetooth stack
  • CyanogenMod's Superuser
  • CyanogenMod's File Manager
  • CyanogenMod's Torch
  • CyanogenMod's BusyBox
  • CyanogenMod's Browser
  • OmniROM Recovery (TWRP)
  • OmniROM music player (Apollo)
  • OmniROM equalizer (DSP Manager)
  • Google Play Store
plus some hardware and development stuff. For more information check our local_manifest.xml.

Why don't you keep it pure AOSP ?
Because our goal is to provide a user friendly and clean ROM. We chose these applications because they are opensource and advertisement free.

I do not like some pre-installed applications, how I can delete them ?
If you do not like them, just uninstall them with a rooted uninstaller like Root Uninstaller.

Feature X is not working or applications Y is force closed, what can I do ?
Usually this kind of problem is due to dirty installation. Please wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.

I found a bug. How do I report it ?
Create a bug report on Bug Tracker and remember to attach a logcat, otherwise your report will be ignored. Also try to attach the log of only the relevant part.

This is pure AOSP with very slight modification. CM feature is not present here.

Edit: you can get most of cm feature through xposed module. I use gravitybox

I found this on another thread
this has fixed the touch screen issues for some users

Quote:

TOUCHSCREEN ISSUE FIXED!!

how to fix:
open /system/usr/idc/cyttsp-spi.idc and add these lines:

touch.size.calibration = geometric
touch.size.scale = 0
touch.size.bias = 0
touch.size.isSummed = 0

remember to hit Thanks button

That is what the touch fix zip file contains. Since it is mentioned after the build was compiled, i think flashable zip is the best way to include it. It will be automatically included in next version

Use any file manager that have root access. Navigate to system/build.prop. Find this line in that file and change it to false

ro.config.low_ram=true
