kernel: 3.0.8+ Mon Oct 15 14:57:07 2012
firmware: ICS 6.1.1.B.1.54
android 4.0.4
That's mean you are using the new kernel
Follow this instruction
- Flash 6.1.B.0.599_Kernel via FlashTool
- Reboot then run Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry
+ NOTE: Make sure you let the phone fully reboot on itself
and only close the Command line when it say so.
- After reboot you're now rooted but still on old kernel
- Flash new 6.1.1.B.1.54_Kernel via FlashTool
- Enjoy 6.1.1.B.1.54 with root.

Tried this method, it the superuser app isn't installed, even if the script tells the is installed.
Thanks anyway for the support Naruto and for the job you're doing for xperia!

A stupid question:
I'm currently on 6.1.B.0.599...how can I flash 6.1.1.B.1.54 without kernel (check exclude Kernel) ??
With flashtool or I find the exclude option in pc companion or in sony update service?

Thank's. ;)

has anyone been having weird battery issues?

I'm on firmware 6.1.1.B.1.54 rooted with kernel:

3.0.8+
builduser@buildhost #1
SMP PREEMPT Mon Oct 15 14:57:07 2012

and I'm having strange battery behaviours like leaving it to charge at night and waking up to having 1% battery like today...wtf...

any ideas?

Does it happens every time you charge?

No, it does not happen every time. I am on stock b.1.54 without root or tweaks.

Today it happened again... connected the charger at midnight while i still had about 70% and woke up this morning at 6am to have 64%. the charger is detected and showing to be charging but it does not charge at all.
I could see on the battery informations that it didn't charge one bit.

I have unplugged and plugged the charger and it started charging properly again.
What do you guys think it could be?

I'm gonna change to a different wall socket and charger to try and find out if it's a defective phone or a defective charger...

EDIT: I just realized something, I plugged the charger on the wall for about 10 minutes and only after that I connected the phone to it. Maybe it's some issue related with the delay of pluging in the phone to the micro-usb end of the charger because when the charging failure occurs if I unplug it and plug it again it starts charging properly.

Will try and troubleshoot several possibilites like:
- Having the phone plugged on the micro-usb while plugging the charger on the wall socket
- Charging with different charger
- Charging in a different wall plug

If it doesn't work then I'm going to send it in for warranty purposes.
