works like a charm except it makes my statusbar app crash, resulting in necessary reboot. Thanks (I have modded it to include power widget, but dunno why that would have something in common)

Hi,
Thanks for all your work.
But I probably miss something as I don't see any difference in my PC explorer between MTP connection and USB mount or unmount...
I'm still unable to see a thumbview of my photo.
What am I doing wrong?

Windows doesn't generate thumbnails for external devices.

Hi,
I do not agree.
With the HTC HD2 with CM7 Rom, I can manage to connect the phone in USB Mass Storage.
Then, if I open my Windows Explorer, I can change the view of the folder of this external device and then see thumbnail.
I just do it few minutes ago.

So, I probably missing something or doing things wrong with this DoomLord application.

When it's in Mass Storage mode Windows doesn't know that it's a phone, so why shouldn't it generate thumbnails?
If you don't get thumbnails then either Windows is set not to generate them or the phone is not in MSC mode (or the pictures are damaged).

I do understant what you say ... but it works with one phone (HD2 CM7) and not with Xperia S and the aaplication of Doom.
If it works for you, it means that I probably do something wrong, but I dont see what.
