How to install eXperience CM Pack?

How to install eXperience Pack on CM9..?

Installation of eXperience Pack is Fast and Simple.

• Install Latest CM9.
• Download eXperience Pack.zip and transfer to internal memory.
• Boot to CWM recovery and Flash eXperience Pack.zip.
• You will be entered in AROMA.
• Follow instructions.. That's it!!!! :good:
  NOTE: Do not select Chrome in AROMA, mistakenly damaged chrome package added. You are informed, do not report Chrome FC.

How to install CM9..?

1. Flash any Stock .54 FTF (use flashtool).
2. Let it boot properly.
3. Download latest CM9 by FXP and transfer to internal memory.
4. Flash boot.img from CM9 ZIP (use flashtool).
5. Now boot to CWM recovery.
6. Wipe Data/Factory Reset + Wipe Dalvik Cache + Wpie Battery Status.
7. Flash CM9.zip
8. Repeat Step 6.
9. Reboot!! CM9 is successfully installed.

Tips and Tricks for CM

Tips and Tricks:

Make eXperience even more smoother and improve battery life.

For those having performance issues:
-> DISABLE AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS
-> WIPE CACHE
-> WIPE DALVIK CACHE
-> ENABLE ZRAM (18%)
-> ENABLE PURGING OF ASSETS
-> REBOOT

Also, after installing all the apps you wanted via AROMA:
-> FIX PERMISSIONS via CWM
-> REBOOT

Fixing permissions will make sure there isn't any unwanted FCing.

Charge your Battery to a 100%:
-> WIPE BATTERY STATS
-> REMOVE Charger
-> Use for complete cycle (to nearly 10%)
-> Do not reboot anywhere in between
-> CHARGE to 100% (and give additional 1 hour after that)
-> Enjoy COMPLETE BATTERY CYCLE

This ensures that when your battery shows 5% remaining, it actually IS 5% instead of really being 15%. That's why battery calibration is important. It doesn't improve battery life, but gives you your COMPLETE Battery life.

1)Settings:-
1) Network Settings:-
a]Mobile Network > Network Type Selection> Select 2G (saves battery)

2) Personal Settings:-
a] Personal > Display > Brightness > Turn Auto Brightness Off
c] Personal > Display > Sleep > 30sec is more than enough ( increases battery )
d] Personal > Location Services > Off ( Turn on from toggle when needed... increases battery )
e] Personal > Accounts & sync > Off ( Switch on when needed... increases battery )

3) System Settings To Improve Performance:-
a] Developers Options > User Interface > Force GPU Rendering > ON (increases performance )
b] Developers Options > User Interface > Windows Sale Animations > 0.5x ( reduces lags if present )
c] Developers Options > Apps > Background Process Limit > 3 ( Can use your own number... Gives you more ram other words releases ram)

These above settings will help you increase performance & battery life!!

i'm gonna try your rom asap . I have a question . Which CM9 FXP file should i download? there are four files of the latest version . kumquat , lotus , nypon or pepper?

How to install CM9..?

1. 
   [*]Download latest CM9 by FXP and transfer to internal memory.
   [*]Flash boot.img from CM9 ZIP (use flashtool).

Kumquat is the correct CM9 for the Xperia U, otherwise flashing the wrong boot.img will boot to a black screen and sit there indefinitely until a battery pull. If you do screw it up and flash the wrong boot.img - like I did - use FlashTool to flash stock .54 and start over.

Locked or unlocked bootloader ?, really guys you should start making threads wih a "locked" or "unlocked" tag so we know beforehand,and avoid spamming the thread with a hundred questions about the same thing.

Lock bootloader means you can't flash any kernel(boot.img) and you just can flash stock based rom.

That is still not a clear answer to what ive asked, is this lovely rom only for unlocked bootloader ?

Use atis112's patch to get cm9 and then install eXperience CM via CWM.
